PRE PURCHASE

Are you aware that many pre purchase building inspections are not carried out by qualified professional Building Inspectors?  When making enquiries you should always ask “what are your qualifications?”

Matthew Perry has 30 years experience in the building industry, is a qualified carpenter, builder and a Registered Building Inspector - Unlimited (carries out both commercial and domestic mandatory building inspections).

When purchasing property it is recommended that you use a qualified professional Building Inspector to under take an inspection on your behalf.

The building inspection completed to Australian Standard 4349.1 is a visual inspection of accessible areas of the structure and gives an assessment of condition consistent with similar buildings of the same age.

A verbal report is also available, which is less expensive, but still gives the client peace of mind.

 
OWNER-BUILDER 137B

I specialize in the provision of mandatory 137B Building Reports. The State Government introduced legislation to protect the purchasers of owner-built construction. The Owner Builder is obliged to provide a copy of the report in conjunction with the mandatory Sale of Land Act Section 32 (Vendors statement to the purchase of Real Estate).

Advice can also be provided on how to obtain warranty insurance. A digital photograph is provided with your report. Additional photographs are also available upon request.
 
QUALITY ASSURANCE

“To avoid risk always ask your Building Inspector for his Inspector Number., ie; IN-U2084. If you are unable to be provided with the IN or BS at the beginning of the registration number, then the Building Practitioner is not a Professional Building Inspector or Building Surveyor.”
